Gerald L. “Jerry” Weese

HOLLEY – Gerald L. “Jerry” Weese, age 75, passed away August 3, 2024 at Highland Hospital. He was born April 14, 1949 in Medina to the late Marvin and Shirley (Beyer) Weese.

Jerry served in the Marine Corps from 1968-1972 in Vietnam where he did force recon. He worked as a supervisor at GM in Rochester and owned and operated Weese Electric for many years. He enjoyed flyfishing, camping, hunting, collecting guns and woodworking. Jerry was always good with words and was known to give great speeches and toasts at any occasion. He really loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Linda, in 2019; brothers, Dennis and Larry; and niece, Amanda Weese,

Jerry is survived by his children, Kristi Toscano and Corey (Jessica) Weese; grandchildren, Max and Luke Toscano; sister, Anne Marie (Kevin) Bowman; brother, Paul Weese; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Route 31 Holley, NY 14470 on Thursday, August 8th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. His memorial service will be held at the funeral home the next day at 10 a.m. with interment and military honors at Hillside Cemetery in Holley.
