Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Texas and Germany. He then enjoyed a brief period of employment with Xerox until he found his true calling, working for the U.S. Postal Service for most of his career.  Gary was a people person, making friends wherever he went along his postal carrier routes.  He did divert his career for a while, when he and Mary bought a motel in Old Forge and enjoyed some wonderful years in the Adirondacks. He was a devoted Frank Sinatra aficionado and encouraged all to share his appreciation of The Voice. He loved boating and cars, Manhattans and music, but mostly he loved spending time with his family.

There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Clarendon Lions Club in Gary’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Fowler Funeral Home Inc.
