Floyd H. Caldwell

CAMBRIA – Floyd H. Caldwell, 90, of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in  Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born in Medina, NY, on  October 23, 1931, a son of the late Victor and Hazel [Buisch] Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell graduated from Medina High School and Erie Technical Institute. He served with the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. Caldwell an architect and partner with Duchscherer Oberst Design in Kenmore for many years before retiring.

He was an active member of the Community Bible Church and enjoyed playing cards.

Mr. Caldwell was the  husband of 56 years to the late Comfort L. [Green]  Caldwell, who passed away in May of 2012.

He is survived by two sons, Bradley (Alta Longware) Caldwell and Dale (Michele) Caldwell; two granddaughters, Mikayla and Alyea Caldwell; a brother, Edward (Lola) Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Caldwell was the brother of the late Leon, Donald, William and Victor Caldwell.

His family will be present on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to the  Community Bible Church Building Fund. Interment in Millville Cemetery, Town of Shelby, NY.
