Evelyn Edith DeLuca

Evelyn Edith DeLuca, 83, of Holley passed away suddenly Feb. 22, 2022, with her son Sal, at her side. She was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Clarkson, a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Weston) Jenkins. She was a nurse employed at the former Lakeside Memorial Hospital and Lakeside Beikirch Nursing Home.

Evelyn loved her cat Charlotte, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was a caregiver at heart, helping many family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Sam DeLuca in 2016.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Marlene (Ron) Paeth, Sal (Karri Schiavone) DeLuca Jr., and David DeLuca; grandchildren:, Richard (Andrea) Paeth, Scott Paeth, Joshua DeLuca, Zachary (Tabby Swift) DeLuca, Seth (Ciana Robertson) DeLuca, Bristol, and Rayton DeLuca; great-grandchildren: Ailey and Finley Paeth, Kora Clark, Sophia, Oliver and Brodie DeLuca; many nieces, nephews, cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 16650 State Route 31, Holley, on Sun., Feb. 27, from 1-4 p.m., followed by her funeral service at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Entombment will be in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery.
