Evelyn Barry

ALBION – Evelyn Barry age 81, passed away September 20, 2024 at the Villages of Orleans with her family by her side.  She was born February 21, 1943, in Harrisburg PA, a daughter of the late John and Rosemary (Conroy) Hodgett and had lived in this area most of her life. Evelyn had worked as a manager at the Walmart in Greece. She was an avid nature enthusiast and was a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother James Hodgett; sisters Pat (Jerry) Barth, Mary (Gene) Marron, Joanie Hodgett.She is survived by her sons Keith (Parampal Deol) Barry, Chris (Lisa Persia) Barry; her daughter Mary Barry; grandchildren Jamie (April) Garza, Zachary Barry, Aubrielle Barry, Kolton Barry, Akum Barry, Saanya Barry; great-grandchildren Michela Brege, Samantha Garza, Aurora Garza; great-great-grandson Jasper Brege; brothers Jack (Marilyn) Hodgett, Same (Roseanne) Hodgett as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held privately at White Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion NY 14411.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
