Eugene James Lamont
Eugene James “Gene” Lamont, 55, of Lyndonville, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 30, 2019. He was born Feb. 17, 1964 in Medina to the late Richard and Gladys (Moore) Lamont.
Gene was a great mechanic who always loved to work on things. He enjoyed spending time on the Oak Orchard River fishing and canoeing. His greatest joy was spending time with his son, Richy.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Barbara; brother, Roger; and sister-in-law, Anne Lamont.
Gene is survived by his son, Richy (Casey) Lamont; sister, Jeannette (Brad Snyder) Burley; brothers, Charles (Paula) Lamont and Ronald Lamont Sr.; soon-to-be granddaughter, Harper; dear friend, Karen; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, on Wed., Oct. 9 from 2 to 3 p.m. only. A service will be held privately and at the family’s convenience.
