Eugene J. Stocker
Eugene J. “Gene” Stocker, 63, of Barker and formerly of Cheektowaga, passed away Oct. 1, 2019. He was born May 27, 1956 in Buffalo to the late Eugene and Constance (Jahreis) Stocker.
Gene enjoyed making hard cider, wine, and listening to music, and he loved watching hockey. He was a 1975 graduate of the Cheektowaga Central School District. Gene always had a comeback and will be remembered for his great personality.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Deborah, whom he married Sept. 23, 1978; his son, Chris (Kelley) Stocker; grandsons, Mason and Edison; father-in-law, Donald Rottger; sister-in-law, Melissa Migliore; brothers-in-law, Mark (Christine) Rottger, David (Amy) Rottger, and James (Nancy) Rottger; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Fri., Oct. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport NY 14067, where his funeral service will be held Sat., Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. Private interment will take place at Acacia Park Cemetery.
