Ethel L. Lourett Rivers
Ethel L. Lourett Rivers of Albion passed away Aug. 21, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ethel enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved white cats. Ethel was predeceased by two husbands, Gordon Lourett and Clifton Rivers.
She is survived by her sister, Viola Downs, children, Charles Lourett, Bonnie Collins, Mary Jo Lourett, Sherry Lourett, Laurie (Merlin) Moyer, Cathy (Matt) Cottrell, grandchildren, Jenifer, Okey Jr., Keith, Bryan, Clarissa, Clifton, Patty Jo, Lisa, Brenda, James, Roger, Merlin Jr., Heath, Shawn, Melissa, 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ethel’s Memorial Service will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Ave., Albion, NY 14411 on Thu., Aug. 25 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
