Emma J. Pritt

Emma J. Pritt, 88, of Medina, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with her loving family at her side.

Born on December 5, 1933 in Indiana, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rillie (Frye) McAdoo.

Emma’s family settled in the Medina area from Pennsylvania and she was employed at the T.J. Lipton Company until its closing and lastly at Ontario Foods. She loved being outdoors, either mowing her lawn or tending to her flower garden. But most of all, Emma enjoyed spending time with her family.

Emma is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Glenn) Giltner of Medina, NY, eight grandchildren,

Kenneth Eastman, Barbara Shah, Dawn Eastman, Miranda Tower, Terra (Bruce Deyarmin) Giltner, Karyn Giltner, Angel Eastman, and Rachel Eastman, a daughter-in-law, Georgiana Tombari and Emma’s companion, Elmer Mills.

Besides her parents, Emma is predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Eastman and a son Dayton Eastman, six siblings, Robert and Donald McAdoo, Leona Lange, Louise Guiste, Joan Brown and Kenneth McAdoo and a granddaughter, Renea Bombard and a grandson, Glenn Giltner III.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating. Burial will be in the West Ridgeway Cemetery.
