Elmer LePard

Elmer A. LePard, 97, of Middleport, died Aug. 13, 2019 in Niagara Hospice. He was born July 29, 1922 in Middleport and was a lifetime resident of this area.

Elmer lived and worked on his dairy farm with his wife and children for more than 25 years. He also worked at the Niagara Power Project, and for 22 years at Harrison Radiator. Elmer was a member of the Medina Moose and the Eagles, and he was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons for over 75 years. He will always be remembered for his big smile and the love he had for his family.

Elmer was the beloved husband of the late Bernice (Reisman) LePard; beloved father of Brenda Campbell, Sandra (Leslie) Vaughn, Carol (Wayne) Woodin Jr., Ronald LePard and the late Laura LePard; dear grandfather of Tracey, Jeffrey, Tricia, Aaron, Eric, Lisa, Christopher, Jeremy, Ashley and Spencer; great-grandfather of Jordan, Clayton, Ryan, Mason, Aurora, Thomas, Tucker, Wessin and Kalyn; and brother of his late twin sister, Eleanor Dees-Detweiler, John LePard, Violet Ward-Haubert, Gladys Jann, Hazel McKenna and Edna Mae Conlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Mon., Aug. 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, where his funeral service will be held Tue., Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
