Eleanor J. Rocco
Eleanor J. “Mickey” Rocco, 85, of Albion, passed away on June 1, 2019 at Medina Memorial Hospital. She was born March 7, 1934 in Albion to the late Leola Standish.
Mickey was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the St. Mary’s Club and the Albion VFW, and she was a retiree from Albion Correctional Facility.
Mickey was predeceased by her first husband, Russell Williams; second husband, Donald M. Rocco; and sister, Marilyn Morris.
Mickey is survived by her daughter, Robin (Joe) Luczak of Medina; grandchildren, Russell Barnes and Julie Luczak; great-granddaughter, Neveya Barnes; brother, Richard (Bettylou) Standish; best friend and beloved pet, Koko; special niece, Debbie; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thu., June 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, where her funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Interment will take place in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
