Elaine C. Johnson went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Born on May 13, 1949, in Medina, NY, to the late Ray & Beatrice Corser, Elaine learned perseverance on their family dairy farm that would serve her and her family their whole lives.  She graduated from Lyndonville High School in 1967.

Elaine married Roy Johnson, and they lived in Lyndonville, Medina, and Batavia before calling Fairport home in 1979. They remained devoted parents to their three children, Michael, Marc, and Melissa, whom they raised together.

Elaine dedicated herself to full-time parenting for most of her children’s school years before rejoining the workforce with the Town of Perinton. Elaine’s commitment to the residents of Perinton led to many fulfilling years as a knowledgeable and respected public servant. Elaine then set a new goal and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business at Roberts Wesleyan University.

A deeply spiritual and curious person, Elaine explored many ways to meet Jesus Christ in daily life and sought to know God. In multiple congregations and over decades of Bible studies and courses, she soaked up every word in her heart, soul, and body. Connecting women in all stages of life, and young and old in faith, to seek God together uplifted her. Through “Soup Sisters,” Elaine fed bodies her delicious soups and filled hearts with opportunities to connect with God through Bible study for many years.

Elaine brought joy and a warm smile to everyone she met. She is greatly missed and will be remembered always. One of Elaine’s grandchildren said the truest thing about her, “I know Grandma is so excited to meet Jesus!”

Survived by her children, Michael (Susan), Marc (Denise), Melissa (Marc) Levy; grandchildren, Sabrina, Steven, Sydney, Jack, Brady and Daniel; siblings, Elwyn (Linda) Corser, Ross (Jeni) Corser, Carol Belcher; 12 nieces & nephews, and many dear friends.

Family & Friends may call Saturday, February 21st 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon (2305 Monroe Ave.) where a funeral service will immediately be held at 12 noon. Interment will be private.  To share a memory of Elaine or send condolences to the family visit www.anthonychapels.com.
