Edward R. Tagg

Edward R. Tagg, of Lockport, passed away May 2, 2020 at his home while under the care of Niagara Hospice and surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 23, 1960 in Lockport to Charles W. and Eleanor R. (Micarski) Tagg.

Ed enjoyed going racing and camping, and he was a “Mr. Fix-it” and all-around handyman. He really loved spending as much time as he could with his family.

In addition to his father, Charles, Ed was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Jean LaForme.

Ed is survived by his loving companion of 19 years, Mary Sink; children, Jessica (Ken) Kahler, Jacob (Lauren) Sink, Alicia Sink, and Ronald Rowles; siblings, Eleanor “Bizz” Friend, Charles “Mike” Tagg, Patricia (late Gary) Mahar, Donald Tagg, Theresa (Frederick Pratt) Tagg, and Cathy House; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews, and he also leaves behind several cousins.

Due to current health concerns, a Celebration of Life Service for Ed will be held at a later date.
