Edward J. “Eddie John” Button

ALBION- Edward J. “Eddie John” Button, age 78, passed away November 23, 2023  following a short illness.

Ed was born August 27, 1945, to Joseph  & Mildred (Hughson) Button, and lived in this area all of his life.

Ed served in the United State Army 1966-1968 in Germany.  Ed enjoyed his family and many friends, and was known tro all to be a fun loving and caring soul.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his son Joseph, and his sister, Sandra (Jerry) Salvatore.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jane Heise, Amy Button, of Albion and Chelsey Smith of TN.  Also, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother, Dennis (Anita) Button, and the mother of his children, Sybil Briggs and several nieces and nephews.

Ed will be missed by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who he loved dearly.

A memorial celebration will take place at the American Legion in Albion on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00pm   Interment will be in WNY National Cemetery on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 1:00pm
