Edward Egloff

Edward Egloff, 88, of Barre, passed away Jan. 17, 2019 at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born June 19, 1930 in Batavia, a son of the late Edward and Anna (Roth) Egloff. Ed was a member of Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church and the Alexander Steam & Gas Association. He owned and operated a dairy farm and sawmill in Barre for many years. Ed loved to tinker and could fix just about everything.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; daughter, Teresa Kodiak; sister, Mary Driesel; brother, Alexander; and sister, Florence Egloff.

He is survived by his children, Rose Egloff of Rome, N.Y., Edward (Sarah) Egloff of Loveland, Colo., John Egloff of Albion, Alex (Mary) Egloff of Barre, Mary Ann (Patrick) Lewis of Tennessee, Benjamin Egloff of Albion, and Margaret (Matt) Liebert of Illinois; grandchildren, Robert Egloff, Allison Vogan, Ashley Lewis, Seth Lewis and Keith Liebert; great-grandchildren, Kamren Vogan, Ann Marie Vogan and Caterina Vogan; brother-in-law, Joseph (Ellie) Kress; sister-in-law, Ruth Klaver; one niece, and several nephews and cousins.

Ed’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church in Albion on Tue., Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Fairfield Cemetery in Spencerport.
