Edward A. Manning Sr.
Edward A. Manning Sr., age 69, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, Aug. 6, at Hospice in Cheektowaga. He was born in Rochester NY on December 23, 1953, the son of George Sr. and Isabel (Schult) Manning.
He lived most of his life in Albion and Lyndonville area. Ed worked for BBX transport for over 30 years. He enjoyed driving truck and was exceptionally good at it and enjoyed the customers he delivered to. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, George Manning Jr.
He is survived by two children, Edward (Julie) A. Manning Jr. and Cassandra Manning-Michel; a stepson, Jeffrey D. Plummer; two siblings, Dorothy Wilson and Bonnie (Walter) Grabowski; 6 grandchildren, Trevor Manning, Nick Kepner, Cooper Manning, Anthony Michel, Arya Manning, and Skyla Manning; nieces and nephews, Bill Jr., Debra, Glenn, Walter Jr., Shawn and many great-nieces and nephews; also a good friend and ex-wife, Margaret (Perez) Manning.
There will be no calling hours and a private celebration of life will be held by the family later.
