Edna A. Moore

Edna A. Moore, 69, of Albion died May 18, 2021 at her sister’s home in Warsaw following a long illness.

She was born Sept. 4, 1951 in Sonyea, NY and had lived in this area most of her life.  Edna enjoyed crocheting, knitting , sewing and travelling; as well as playing various outdoor activities such as horseshoes and cornhole at family reunions.  Ms. Moore was predeceased by her brothers: Raymond and Lester Dieter, and her grandson, Dylan Starkweather.

She is survived by her sons: Joseph Moore of Albion, John Moore of Texas; her daughters: Mary (Mike) Lorek of Hamlin, Tammy Moore of Albion; brothers: Paul (Joan) Dieter of NH, Carl Dieter Jr. of Portageville; sisters: Ruth Wright of Warsaw, Barbara (John DiSalvo) Dieter of Warsaw; grandchildren: Brandon, Brittney, Dallas, Brittany, Jordan; great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Joseph, her former husband John “Bud” Moore; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion on Mon., May 24 from 6 -8 p.m. only.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date and her burial will take place privately in Arkport Cemetery.
