Durwood J. Rohring

Durwood J. Rohring, 91, of the Town of Lockport and husband of 70 years to Audrey A. Rohring died  on Thu., Oct. 8, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Durwood was born on Dec. 16, 1928 in the Town of Cambria, NY. He is the son of the late Howard A. and the late Florence M. (Koller) Rohring.  He married Audrey A. Rohring on April 22, 1950. He was employed by GM/Harrison Radiator as Line Operator retiring after 30 plus years. Durwood enjoyed trips to the casino, he was a member of the UAW travel club and was an active hunter in his younger days. Durwood and Audrey were members of  St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey; children: Douglas (Wanda) Rohring, Craig (Diane) Rohring, Dennis (Kristin) Rohring; sister, Norma Kroening; grandchildren: Rebecca (Kevin) Dillenbeck and Danielle Rohring; great-grandchild, Brandon Dillenbeck; and several nieces and nephews. Durwood is predeceased by his siblings Donalyn Baldwin and Ronald Rohring.

Family and friends may attend visitation on Fri., Oct. 16 from 12-2 p.m. at Hardison Funeral Homes, Inc., 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held immediately following in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
