Douglas V. Hart
Douglas V. Hart, 65, of Waterport, died March 19, 2019 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born Nov. 24, 1953 in Batavia to Vincent and Florence Hart and lived in this area most of his life.
Doug was a member of St. Mary’s Archer’s Club and the proprietor of Hart Farms. He enjoyed repairing and fixing houses, working in his garden, and watching old Westerns and professional wrestling on TV. Doug had a special affinity for and loved all of his cats.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Crystal, whom he married Nov. 11, 2001; his son, Tim (Kate) Lashway of Rochester; two grandchildren, Ethan and Mason; as well as two sisters.
There will be no calling hours. Doug’s services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton streets, Buffalo NY 14263.
