Donald R. “Fuzzy” DePalma passed away suddenly on Tue., July 23, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1948, a son of the late Albert L. and Anna (Marchione) DePalma, and he was a lifelong resident of the Holley/Albion area, graduating from Holley High School in 1966.

Fuzzy owned and operated a farm on Fancher Road. He shared his love for farming with his many friends in the field of agriculture. Fuzzy served in the U.S. Army as a medic from 1969 to 1971 and was a member of the Holley VFW Post #202, as well as the Holley American Legion Jewell Buckman Post #529.

Fuzzy is survived by his daughters, Meaghan DePalma-Whelan of North Augusta, S.C., and Lynette DePalma of St. Clairsville, Ohio; a brother, Carl DePalma of Buffalo; one niece; one nephew; and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Albert O. DePalma.

There will be no calling hours. His graveside service with military honors will be held on Sat., July 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Albion. The family would like you to join them for a time of food and fellowship at the Albion Sheret Post #35 American Legion, 3429 Gaines Basin Road, Albion, at 12 p.m.
