Dominic T. Anthony
Dominic T. Anthony, 40, of Albion, died unexpectedly March 21, 2019. He was born June 17, 1978 in California to Thomas and Nancy (Shaw) Anthony, moved to Rhode Island as a boy, and lived in this area for over seven years.
A former member of Kendall United Methodist Church, Dominic was active in Bus Ministries throughout the area. He loved Bible studies by the waterfalls, cooking, volunteering at The Woodlands in Holley, rapping, and writing poetry. He also loved the outdoors and his puppies, and he enjoyed a humorous sense of fashion. Dominic was always up for a new adventure and, if you were going through a tough time, he would always be there to give you a hug when you needed it the most. His family described him as the most giving man they’ve ever known who would give you his last $5 and the shirt off his back, even if he didn’t have any money or any clothes. He truly loved his family and was overheard telling someone that Jamie had taught him how to be a “soccer mom.”
Mr. Anthony was predeceased by his sister, Melissa Jean; and his “Nonnie,” Santa Anthony.
He is survived by his loving companion, Jamie “Wifey” Wilkins; her children, Bailey, Collin and Madison Papaj, Michael and Emily Torres; his uncles, Tino Anthony, Joseph Anthony and Jerome Squadrito; his aunts, Joanna Interlini, Tina Anthony, Maria Anthony, Karen Anthony and Kim Squadrito; as well as many cousins.
The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Wed., March 27 from 6 to 8 p.m., followed immediately by his funeral service at 8 p.m. Interment will be in Rhode Island at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesee Orleans Ministry of Concern/Just Friends Youth Mentoring Program, 121 N. Main St., Suite 311, Albion NY 14411.
