Dolores L. “Dee” Elder

Dolores L. “Dee” Elder, 79, of Albion passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Dec. 14, 2021. She was born March 20, 1942 in Hector, NY to the late Crandall and Mildred (Champion) Terry.

Dolores and her late husband, Gary enjoyed wintering in Florida with their motorhome and traveling all over and bowling. She was known for her bubbly personality and was always smiling and laughing. Dee was always willing to help anyone and she spent a lot of time shopping and visiting and talking to everyone.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gary in 2013; sisters: Janet Beaudin, Darlene Terry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Cliff Elder, Willy Elder, Eleanor Park, and Sharon Elder.

Dee is survived by her children: Cindy (Harry) Jones, Michael (Tina) Elder, Tammy (Ryan Berg) Elder; grandchildren: Perrin (Matt Playfair) London, Brandon (Tabitha Kolb) Jones, Joshua (Chloe) Berg, Jason (Rebekah Fox) Berg, Justin Jones, Jordan (Belle Casselman) Berg; great-grandchildren: Christian, Sophia, Ryanna, Jaxon, Ava, Mary, Roselyn, Cameron, sisters, Shirley (late Sonny) Brinkerhoff, Sondra (Joseph) Hines; brother and sister-in-law: Stan and Sally Elder, Cliff and Carole Beaudin; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion, NY 14411 on Mon., Dec. 20 from 4-7 p.m. where her funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be held privately in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
