Dolores (Harch) Eick

Dolores (Harch) Eick, 91, of Middleport, passed away Jan. 3, 2020 with her family by her side at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1928 in Middleport to the late Carl and Doris (Wagner) Harch.

She married Eugene Eick on Dec. 29, 1948 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville, N.Y., and they celebrated 67 years together before his death in 2016. Dolores lived in the Middleport area most of her life and was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Middleport. She enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to playing with her great-grandchildren every week.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Dr. Mark) Perry of Lewiston; grandsons, Bryan (Amy) Perry of Grand Island, Doctors Gregory (Melissa) Perry of Cohoes, N.Y., and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Perry of Ransomville; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Carter and Aria, and Oliver and Emma; brother-in-law, Gary (Peggy) Eick of Gasport; nieces and nephews, Julie (Joe) Granchelli, Tim Eick, Terri (Dominic) Marinelli, Christine Eick, and Cori (Kevin) Krause; great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah and Jessica, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Lauren, Kyle, Matthew and Conner, all of whom she loved deeply.

She was also the sister-in-law of the late David and Gerri (Harch) Eick.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tue., Jan. 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral services will be held on Wed., Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Route 31 at Vernon Street, Middleport NY 14105. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Medina.
