Diane Lee Edwards

Diane graduated from Lyndonville High School (& BOCES Cosmetology) in 1966. She married her high school love, J.T. Edwards, in December 1966 and they left for Chicago the next day. J.T was in the US Navy. They spent the next few years stationed overseas in Sicily and Italy, then back to the States in Jacksonville and Pensacola, Florida. Diane really enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, learning the culture and meeting new friends. They eventually settled back in Lyndonville along with their children, Denise and Dennis. Sadly, J.T. and Diane eventually divorced.
Diane worked for many years at the Lyndonville Canning Company. Later in life, she embraced the opportunity to be able to care for an elderly neighbor in her home until her passing. Even through the loss, she felt a sense of great joy and purpose having had the privilege to be able to care for her. Years later, she welcomed two elderly sisters to move into her home and cared for them until her own health issues required her to focus solely on her own self-care.
Diane was a kind, generous, and loving person. She cared deeply for people. She loved visiting family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her sister/best friend, Kathy. They were always together! They loved to laugh, shop, go out to eat and just spend time together. She enjoyed talking on the phone for hours into the night with her sisters in Florida, Judy and Mary Lou.

Survived by her daughter, Denise Edwards (Eric Conn) and son, Dennis Edwards (fiancée Rachel Muscato) (Chris Olczak); Grandchildren, Jace Conn, Jacob Edwards and Jett Conn, and Michelle, Joey and Arianna Francis. Sisters, Judy (Hugh) Fraser, MaryLou Rowley and Kathleen Brabon; Uncle Ernie (Judy) Bacon; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her ex-husband J.T. Edwards; special friend Marty Mazzo; and brother-in-law Alton Brabon.
