Devorah Venice “Dee” Holloway

American flagDevorah Venice “Dee” Holloway, 58, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Wed., March 10, 2021 at her home.

Born on Jan. 16, 1963, in Baltimore Maryland, she was the daughter of the late David Scoffied and Bessie Mae (Alston) Clemons.

Devorah graduated from Concordia Preparatory High School in 1981 and enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she met and married Clyde Devin Holloway in 1982. She received her honorable discharge in 1984 and they both relocated to the Medina area.  She was employed at BernzOmatic until 1995 and then worked as an Instructor at the Iroquois Job Corps, until 2020, when her ill health prevented her from working.

Dee leaves behind to mourn her husband of 40 years, Clyde Devin Holloway; three children: Arielle, Jeremiah and Nathanial Holloway, all of Medina; three brothers: David, Darryl and Dwayne Clemons, all of Baltimore, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Darkness was created so a light could shine. Devorah’s life and love, was and is, that light which will comfort and guide us through this dark time. She is gone, but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends may call on Sat., March 20, 2021, from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  *Wearing of Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
