Dennis Marvin Weese, 63, of Walterboro, S.C. and formerly of Albion, passed away at Veterans Victory House on Sat., May 30, 2020, with his favorite song, “Take Me Home, Country Roads” playing in the background.

Born July 29, 1956 in Batavia, he lived in Albion for most of his life. He graduated from Albion High School, enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and was an electrician by trade. He loved listening to music, especially John Denver, and he enjoyed painting, drawing, and spending time with family. He is best known for his outgoing personality, his huge smile, and for giving a “thumbs up” to all.

He is predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Shirley (Beyer) Weese; brother, Lawrence; and sister-in-law, Linda (Castricone) Weese.

He is survived by one son and two daughters, Justin (Amy) Weese of Albion, Denise (Eric) Thompson of Summerville, S.C., and Amanda Weese of Summerville; two brothers, Jerry Weese of Holley and Paul Weese of Medina; a sister, Ann (Kevin) Bowman of Medina; two sisters-in-law, Leona (Sarchia) Weese and Sue (Watson) Weese, both of Medina; three wonderful grandchildren who he loved to pieces, Emily Thompson, Kimberly Weese and Robert Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
