Dennis KupkaAmerican flagDennis Kupka, 76, of Albion, died Dec. 9, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital following a short illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 24, 1943 in Lancaster, N.Y., a son of Bernard and Mary Kupka, and he lived in this area for the past 45 years.

Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Sheret Post #35 American Legion of Albion. He was a Buffalo Bills fan since childhood, and he loved to work on classic cars, listen to 1950s music, and collect and restore antique pocket watches.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Dwayne in 1971 and David in 2017.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; daughter, Debbie (Norman) Bale; son, Dennis (Debbie) Kupka; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Kupka; grandchildren, Becky, T.J. (Melissa), Eric (Angie Varela), Autumn (Paul Griffin), Kolton, Ashleigh, Noah, Ayden and Addyson; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Grant and Stella; persistent buddies, Taz, Mr. Sox and Midge; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many childhood friends.

There will be no calling hours. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m on Sat., Dec. 14 at Holy Family Parish, 106 S. Main St., Albion NY 14411, where his military honors will follow. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish; or to Kevin’s Guest House, 782 Ellicott St., Buffalo NY 14203.
