DeLois T. “Ted” Thompson, 93, of Albion, died Aug. 20, 2020 in the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence. He was born Sept. 11, 1926 in Albion to E. DeLois and Luella (Brown) Thompson and, in addition to living in Albion, he lived all over the United States due to his job requirements.

Ted was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and worked as a topographer for the United States government. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, sports of all kinds, and tinkering in the stock market.

Ted is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia; his children, Susan (Dr. Edward) DePeters of California, Marcia (David) Harris of Cazenovia, N.Y., and Jan (Tom Keeler) Spencer of Albion; four grandchildren, Mark (Michelle) DePeters, Leigh (Tom) Watts, Evan Harris, and Daley (Cody) Harris; and four great-grandchildren, Zayden and Liam DePeters, Sawyier and Forrest Watts.

There will be no calling hours. A private service and interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
