Darlene A. Zeliff

LYNDONVILLE – Darlene A. Zeliff, 69, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home, with her loving family at her side.

She was born on March 13, 1956, in Medina, NY, the daughter of the late Dean and Marian (Devonshire) Wolfe.

In 1974, she graduated from Lyndonville High School, attended Highland Hospitals Nursing Program, and, lastly, Indiana Wesleyan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Darlene married Michael Zeliff on July 31, 1982, and together raised six children.  “She dedicated 45 years of service to Medina Hospital (1979-2025) and also worked at Brockport College (2008-2021), where she touched countless lives through her compassion and care.”

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Batavia and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially while traveling and camping, as well as sewing and baking. Along with her husband, Michael, together they lead the youth group at the former Ashwood Wesleyan Church, taking the group on many mission trips.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 43 and a half years, Michael. Her children, Joseph Zeliff, James (Kari) Zeliff, Kathryn (Eric) Zimmerman, Joshua (Naomi) Zeliff and Devon Allen, her grandchildren, Emma, Ella, Evelyn, Easton Zeliff, Noah, Brantley, Jackson Zimmerman, Vinny, Dom, Laney and Walker Zeliff, her two siblings, Larry Wolfe and Bonnie (Thomas) Heck, her sister’s and  brother’s -in-laws, Peter (Doreen) Zeliff, Suzanne Seifart, Pamela (Terry Watson) Frasier, and Tracy (Thom) Jennings. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and good friends.

Besides her parents, Darlene was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Evelyn (Cone) Zeliff, her brother, Michael Wolfe; her child, Brooke Allen; a brother-in-law, Richard Seifart; and a sister-in-law, Deborah Derisley.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 PM-7 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, and from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday at the Yates Baptist Church, 11365 E Yates Center Rd, Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM. The burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Darlene’s name to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Route 31 West, Albion, NY 14411, or to the Grace Baptist Church, 238 Vine St, Batavia, NY 14020, or to the Lyndonville Lions Club, 4th of July Fund, P.O. Box 371, Lyndonville, NY, 14098.
