Constance Kwiatkowski Brakenbury, 80, of Waterport, died peacefully on May 12, 2020. She was born on March 11, 1940 in Albion, a daughter of the late Arthur and Eleanore (Lewandowski) Kwiatkowski, and she lived in this area all of her life.

Connie graduated from Albion High School and then attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, where she majored in business. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at St. Mary’s Church in Albion, and also at the Carlton Fire Department. She loved to shop, vacation at Top Sail Island, make arts and crafts, watch birds and, most of all, watch TV – she used to say, “My TV never let me down.”

Connie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard; sons, Keith (Jeff Bodine) Brakenbury, Kyle (Colleen) Brakenbury, and Kevin Brakenbury; daughter, Ondrea (Angelo) Pate; grandchildren, Gregory (Sarah) Brakenbury, Felicia (Sean) Dhondt, Jennifer (Trent) Tobias, Dietrich Pate, Michael Loggins, Mitchell Pate, Marguerite Brakenbury, Eowyn Pate, and Maia Pate; nine great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.

Her graveside service will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Brown Road, Albion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carlton Fire Department.
