Connie S. Bissell

Connie S. Bissell, 58, of Kendall died unexpectedly March 12, 2021 at her home. She was born Sept. 7, 1962 in Albion, a daughter of the late Charles and Carol (VanOrden) Buzard and had lived in this area all of her life.

Connie worked as an office manager at her husband Ron’s auto repair shop for over 15 years.  She enjoyed taking rides on the back of Ron’s motorcycle.  She was known as the “cookie lady” because she loved baking cookies, as well as making salsa.  Connie loved all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite.  Most of all Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She made quilts for all of them and loved doing arts and crafts whenever they were together.  She was the best grandma. 

Connie is survived by her husband Ron, of 36 years; her sons: James (Ashley Jesmer) Bissell, Christopher Bissell, Brian (Kayla) Bissell; grandchildren: Matthew, Cayden, Bradley, Joshua, Bella, David, Addison, Elijah, Christopher Jr.; sisters: Robin Snyder, Brenda (Frank) Faro, Patty (Mark) Faro, Penny (Guy) Steffen, Nancy Buzard; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Cora Bissell; brother-in-law, Tim Bissell; sister-in-law, Mary (Aaron) Bissell; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Route 31 Holley on Fri., March 26 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. where her Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 50% capacity per state guidelines as of Feb. 5, 2021.  New York state requires those in attendance to adhere to social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
