Clifford Dillon

Clifford F. Dillon, 72, of Albion, died Feb. 6, 2019 in Rochester General Hospital following a long illness. He was born March 28, 1946 in Rochester to Clifford H. and Ruth (Thibault) Dillon and lived in this area most of his life.

Clifford was a member of Holy Family Parish and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked as a supervisor. He enjoyed working on cars and, at one point in his life, raced cars at Niagara Speedway. To say that he had a great sense of humor would be an understatement. Clifford was regarded as a “Mr. Fix-it,” having the ability to fix anything. His greatest enjoyment was socializing with and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Stella; their children, Jennifer (Thomas) Ritchey of Albion and Kevin (Tiffany) Dillon of Williamsville; his brother, Roger (Gloria) Dillon of Albion; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Mon., Feb. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church on Tue., Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to COVA, 239 S. Main St., Albion NY 14411.
