Christian W. “Chris” Mann
ALBION – Christian W. “Chris” Mann, age 71, died July 3, 2023 in St. Ann’s Home following a short illness. He was born August 20, 1951 in Detroit, MI to Arthur and Alice “Rita” (Fountain) Mann and had lived in this area since 1968.
Chris was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and attended the Albion Free Methodist Church. He loved to spend time on the water, especially on sailboats and he also enjoyed taking rides on motorcycles. Mr. Mann was predeceased by his parents and a sister: Anna Marie Mann.
He is survived by children: Erica (Frank Robb) Colucci of Kent, Angela Mann of Kendall, Amanda (Bill) Freeman of KY, Christina (Randy Kimmel) Mann of Kendall, his brothers: Paul (Mary Lou) Mann of Albion, Mark (Mary) Mann of Brighton, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Albion Free Methodist Church, 25 S. Platt St., Albion, FRIDAY July 14th (note the date) 10:30-12 where his Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation. Interment will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans of Vietnam, 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD, 20910.
