Charles R. Harrell

BROCKPORT – Charles R. Harrell, 91, of Brockport, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Harrell was born August 18, 1930 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Andrew and Annie Laura Harrell. He decided to then dedicate himself to the United States Navy, where he was honorably discharged in June of 1954.

On July 4th, 1963, Charles married the love of his life, Elizabeth Chalmers and dedicated the rest of his time to his beautiful family and as a dedicated employee of Delco Products, where he eventually retired from. In his spare time, he loved to spend time with his family, hunt and always be the one to make you laugh on a hard day.

Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Chalmers and late parents, Mr. Harrell is survived by his siblings, John, J.L and Jean Harrell; children, Pam Williams, Robin Guthrie, Debbie Hafner, Susan Harrell, Wayne and Warren Allen; grandchildren, Charles (Marci Reynolds) King, Joshua (Ali Becking) King, Ashley (Stephanie) Desmore and Brittney King; plus 12 great-grandchildren who he loved dearly.

Mr. Harrell will be laid to rest with full military honors on a date that will privately be shared with family and friends.
