Charles Otto Boseck

Charles grew up in Lakeview NY where he wrote in an autobiography assignment in 9th grade that he wanted his lifelong occupation to be farming and that he loved Sunday School and his church. With those goals as his focus he went on to graduate from the Buffalo Bible Institute, where he met Sylvia, and to be ordained as a Minister of Christ at the Lakeview Congregational Church. He went on to pastor churches in Raymond Hill, Sandhill, Lyndonville, Middleport, Hunts Corner and Lakeview. He preached the Word of God faithfully while officiating at many weddings, baptisms and funerals. At the same time he fulfilled his dream of being a farmer by establishing a dairy farm in Akron and then working for many years at MY-T Acres as he and Sylvia raised their family in Lyndonville, NY. In later years Charles moved back into the house his father built and where he was born on Schultz Road in Lakeview.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday, December 28 from 9:00-10:00 am with funeral following at The Lake View Community Church, 2043 Main St. Lake View NY 14085. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff at The Hurlbut Nursing Home who cared compassionately for Charlie over the past 3 years. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a contribution in honor of Charles to Lakeview Community Church or the Buffalo City Mission.
