Charles J. Haight
BROOKSVILLE, FL – It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles Joe Haight (Chuck) who passed away on April 11, 2025 at his home in Brooksville, FL. Charles was born October 21, 1944 to Fred & Beatrice Haight of Lyndonville , NY
After his graduation from Barker Center School he joined the U.S. Coast Guard from 1962 – 1967 where he earned the Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal & the National Defense Service Medal. After his military enlistment he settled in Holly, NY and worked at Kodak in Rochester, NY where he later retired.
Chuck loved to cook, was an avid golfer, loved his motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
He is predeceased by parents Fred & Beatrice Haight and siblings, John, Carl, Jerry, Rex, Lee & Mary, wife Judy (Brooks) Haight and wife Carolyn (D’Angelo) Haight. He is survived by stepson, Vernon (Barbara) Brooks of LeRoy, NY, stepdaughters Rondalyn (Rick) Jacobs of Ogdensburg, NY, Lynnette (Michael) Cook of Livonia, NY & Dawn (Michael) Snyder of Livonia, NY, siblings, Patricia (David) Woodward of Medina, NY & James Mark (Nellie) Haight of Appleton, NY. six grandchildren, Katelyn (Matthew) Bennetti, Amie Brooks, Rick II & Sarah Jacobs, Ronald (Wendy) Jacobs, Melanie (Daniel) Olver, Kathi Ford, Brian Every, Amy Brongo and Tom Every. 10 great grandchildren & several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service with full Military honors will be held at the Mt. Morris Cemetery, Mt Morris, NY on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1pm.
