Cecelia M. Nowicki

Cecelia M. “Cece” Nowicki, 78, of Brockport, passed away unexpectedly at her home with her beloved dog, Dutchess, by her side. She was born Feb. 11, 1942 in Albion to the late Clifford and Lorena (Buongiorne) Ward.

Cece was very active in Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph’s Church for many years with the annual Lawn Fete, and she also served as the Eucharistic Minister. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Sr., in 2010; sons, John Jr. and Jeffrey; and aunt, Madelyn B. Frascarella.

Cece is survived by her children, Steven Nowicki, Barbara Nowicki and Billie Harper; sister-in-law/caregiver, Delice Nowicki; as well as several other in-laws.

There are no calling hours. Cece’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Mon., Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph’s Church, W. Park Street, Albion NY 14411. Face masks will be required at the church, and please use the east ramp entrance. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
