Carol G. Ward

Carol G. Ward, 61, of Albion, died May 20, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia with her daughter and grandson by her side. She was born March 30, 1958 in Albion, a daughter of the late Richard and Maryjane (Walburn) Kennedy, and lived in this area most of her life.

Carol enjoyed the activities at The Villages of Orleans, where she resided. She could never sit still and loved being on the move. She loved watching HGTV, especially “Property Brothers,” but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughters, Jasmine and Destiny.

Carol is survived by her children, Christa Ward of Medina, Joel (Danielle) Ward of Holley, Tanya Ward of Brockport and Tracey Nottingham of Medina; grandchildren, Mark, Noah, Mia, Kasey, Kyle, Kreg, Dakota, Richie and Tyler; a great-grandchild on the way; husband, Joseph; sister, Sandra Rodges of Lyndonville; three other sisters; two brothers; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Thu., May 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
