Carol A. (Galliford) Morgott

Carol A. (Galliford) Morgott, 82, of Clarendon died Dec. 17, 2021 in Strong Memorial Hospital.  She was born June 30, 1939 in Brockport to Wallace and Rose (Hovey) Sparks and was a life-long resident of this area.

Carol retired from working many years in the Brockport School System.  She was an old-school hard worker and wasn’t afraid to tackle any chores such as cutting and splitting wood.  One of her greatest passions however, was being a foster mother for many puppies in the Guiding Eyes for the Blind program.

Mrs. Morgott was predeceased by her siblings: Don, Bruce and Gilbert Sparks as well as Dorothy Ferguson.  She is survived by her children: Scott (Christine) Galliford of Brockport, Charles (Catherine) Morgott of Clarendon, Daniel (Connie) Morgott of Hamlin; grandson, Dillon Morgott; sister-in-law, Betty Sparks; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Rt. 31, Holley, Thu. Dec. 23 from 12-2 p.m. where her funeral service will begin immediately following visitation.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
