Carmel M. Nenni

GREECE – Carmel M. Nenni, 96, died November 5, 2020 in the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center following a brief illness. She was born September 25, 1924 in Albion to Peter and Bertha (Vendetta) Christopher and had lived in this area her entire life.

Carmel was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. in Greece. She enjoyed BINGO, playing cards and was an avid baseball fan, especially for the NY Yankees. Her greatest joy however, was her family.

Mrs. Nenni was predeceased by husbands, Henry Paduano, Atzio “Chow” Nenni and Dan Acchione.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Michael Christopher, and sisters, Nancy Benvenuti, Delia Nenni and Catherine Dorazio.

Carmel is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 12th, at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Road, Rochester. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Holley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
