Carlos M. “Uncle Charlie” Arcadio, 91, of Medina, entered into rest on Tue., Sept. 24, 2019 at his home.

Born on March 15, 1928 in San German, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Pepe and Angelina (Arcadio) Morales.

Carlos moved from Puerto Rico to the Medina area, where he was reunited with his wife, Monserrate Arcadio, who passed in 1998. He was employed for 23 years with Whiting Door Manufacturing Corporation in Akron, N.Y., retiring in 1991. Carlos enjoyed staying fit, especially by going for walks and working out at the YMCA.

He is survived by three children, Santa Sambolin of Medina, Juan (Della) Morales of Holley, and Maria (Anthony) Pagliel Jr. of Lockport; nine grandchildren, Leanta, Luciano, Hunter, Alina, Nicole, Santino, Anthony III, Tanya and Samantha; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and good friends.

Relatives and friends may call on Thu., Sept. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held on Fri., Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Csizmar officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
