Carl Culotta

American flagMEDINA – Carl Culotta was born on July 3rd, 1929 in Medina to Cosemo and Josephine (Colletti) Culotta. He went home to his Lord, Jesus Christ on March 26, 2021, at 91 years of age.

Carl was a man that held his family close to his heart. He was always there being the best son, brother and uncle a man could be. He made a profound impact on the lives of those he loved.

Carl graduated from Medina High School in the class of 1950 and remained close friends with many of his classmates. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Massachusetts, Edwards Base. He then enjoyed being employment at General Motors Harrison Radiator, retiring after 35 years. He spent his retirement taking care of his mother and enjoying the extended family.

He is survived by his loving sister, Nancy L. Climenhaga. He will be missed greatly by his nephews, Dirk (Sandra) Climenhaga, David (Bonnie) Bolea and Paul (Terri) Bolea and his nieces, Kathleen Margle, Donna (Paul) Forbes, Patty (Bill) Myers and Brenda (John) Carr. He was loved by his great nieces and nephews. Carl was especially close to Mckinley, Tyler and Reilly Climenhaga. His gentle spirit, unwavering support and steadfast love impacted their lives for the better.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Anna Bolea, Marion Goodwin and brother, John Culotta.

The family would like to thank the staff at Applegate Manor and the North Wing nurses and staff. The care and love he received from them during this Covid season was beyond appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carl’s name to Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, PO Box# 625, Medina, NY 14103.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Vincent J. Iorio Jr. officiating. *Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. Burial will be private for the family.
