Burton Edward Stamp Sr.

Burton Edward Stamp Sr., 87, went home to be with the Lord Thu., Aug. 26, 2021.

Born May 12, 1934 in Brighton, NY to Herbert W. Stamp and Mable (Crouse) Stamp.  Burton was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Joyce May (Burch) Stamp; his eldest daughter, Darlene (Rosevelt) Little and his nine siblings.

He is survived by six of his seven children: Burton E. Stamp Jr. of Medina NY, Sharon (John) Maahs of Cleaveland, Tenn., Yvonne (John ) Sims of Medina, NY, Denise (Bruno) Mangiola of Medina, NY, Darryl (Tracey) Stamp Sr. of Johnson City, Tenn., and Melissa Young of Basom, NY.  He leaves behind a living legacy in his 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Burton was a life time member of Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church.  He loved his church and his church family, and was a great believer in telling all he met about Jesus and what he did for him.

We will celebrate his life on Sat., Sept. 4, 2021 at 10 a.m. for visitation with service to follow at 11 a.m. at Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY 14103.

The service will be live streamed on Facebook for those who are unable to attend. There will be a dinner immediately following in the fellowship hall.
