Bruce E. Harvey
PENN YAN – Bruce E. Harvey, 76, of Penn Yan NY, formerly of Albion NY, passed away peacefully at Geneva General Hospital on November 21. He was a 1965 graduate of Albion High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green College in Ohio.
Bruce had a lifelong love of all kinds of music from many genres. He was always most comfortable in the Finger Lakes Region where he made his home for over 25 years.
He was a co-owner of Fisher’s Newsroom in Albion in the late ’90s. He also served as a rural letter carrier for the USPS.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Harlan and Lucille Harvey of Albion; and his son, Bran Harvey of Chicago.
He is survived by his daughter, Staci (Charlie) Breuilly of Albion; daughter-in-law, Lisa Forde of Chicago; brother, Paul (Susan) Harvey of Chautauqua NY; sister, Linda Beck of Hanover, New Hampshire as well as grandchildren Mark, Sarah, Allison, Nora, Emily and Frannie.
Services and internment will be private. A celebration of life for Bruce will be held in the spring. Memorials in his memory may be be made to a charity of one’s own choice.
