Brian S. Froman

ALBION – Brian S. Froman, age 62, died May 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 28, 1961 in Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada to Fred and Bernice (Miller) Froman and had lived in this area most of his life.

Brian attended Harvest Christian Fellowship Church and was a member of the St. Mary’s Athletic Club, former member of the Jr. Wilson’s Horseshoe Club, enjoyed camping, biking, physical fitness, playing softball, hockey and just enjoyed laughing and having a good time.

He was a “Jack of all trades.” Brian was a very family-oriented man and would help anyone with anything at any time. He was a Master Genius in the world of Sudoku Puzzles and was a man who used every opportunity to learn.

People who knew him or met him for the first time, described him as a kind man who never complained. Whenever Brian was asked what he was doing, his reply was, “…is the sun is up? If it is, I’m working!”

Mr. Froman was predeceased by his parents and a sister: Carolyn Gibson.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years and his blue-eyed girl, Diane; his daughters, Lace (Daniel “Peeps”) Coughlin of Albion, and Brandi (Baylee VerCruysse) Froman of Albion; his brothers, Bernard (Lu Ann Moriarty) Froman of Medina, Lonnie (Betty Ann) Froman of Medina, Wendell “Lut” (Denise) Froman of Rochester, Darrin “Jake” (Kelly) Froman of Albion, and Mirum “Lee” (Nandy Willis) Froman of Albion; his sisters. Joanne (Thomas) Bordeau of Lockport, and Corena “Dedo” (Mark) Brannan of Albion; a special brother-in-law, Frank “Killer” Gibson of Kent; 4 grandchildren, Levi, Brynn, Piper and Ryder as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Avenue-Albion, on Tuesday, May 28, from 12-4 p.m. where his funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 p.m.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Rt. 31, Albion, NY, 14411.
