Brennan MoodyBrennan Michael Carlyle Moody, 17, of Albion, died June 18, 2019. He was born Aug. 2, 2001 in Rochester, a son of Erin and Rhiannon (Farone) Moody.

Brennan was a senior at Albion High School, where he was very involved with the music and band programs. Following in his father’s footsteps, he played trumpet in the concert band, the jazz band and the brass ensemble, and sang in the men’s mixed and select choirs. Brennan took part in the fall and spring musicals and was selected to play a part in the musical “Oklahoma” for the Lake Plains Players. Outside of school, Brennan took voice and guitar lessons and kung fu. He was in Boy Scouts and enjoyed doing community service. He worked at McDonald’s and also had a computer business, building and repairing computers for people. He loved to read, sing, and collect classic guitars and amps.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Michael and Patricia Moody.

He is survived by his parents, Erin and Rhiannon; his brother, Jackson; girlfriend, Angel Rushing; maternal grandfather, Joseph (Julie) Farone; maternal grandmother, Patricia Ward; paternal great-grandmother, Maryanne Moody; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Tue., June 25 from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held Wed., June 26 at 11 a.m. at Albion First Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
