Brenda O’Mara

ALBION – Brenda L. “Bear” O’Mara, 59, passed away March 4, 2026, at Medina Memorial Hospital. Brenda was born October 29, 1966, in Brockport, NY, a daughter of the late James & Gloria (Wolf) O’Mara.

Brenda was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1984. After graduating from Albion, “Bear” went to work in banking for 35 years. She enjoyed summer time, Panda Bears, her pool, euchre parties, listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and dancing.

In addition to her parents, “Bear” was predeceased by her great-nephew, Owen Todd.

Brenda is survived by her loving family; daughters, Alexis and Nicolina Creasey; brother, James “Buzzy” O’Mara; sisters, Pamelia (Rick Heise) Taylor, Linda (Brian) Burke, Debra (Scott) Neri; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Laura) Wolck, Michael (Karina) Sargent, Danielle (Mitch) Todd, Christian Swiercznski, Guy Burke, and Jeffrey Burke; great-niece & nephews Josephine Wolck, Oakley & Oliver Todd; close friend Mike Arnold and her loving canine companion Neo.

Brenda’s arrangements have been entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 W. Avenue, Albion.
