Beverly A. “Bev” Nayman

Beverly A. “Bev” Nayman, 79, of Middleport passed away Dec. 18, 2021 at Niagara Hospice surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Nov. 21, 1942 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Lewis and Dolores (Orth) Williams.

Bev graduated from Medina High School in 1960 and was active with the class reunion committee, serving as treasurer.  Early in her career, she worked side-by-side with her father at Medina Western Auto.  She then went on to become a cosmetologist, where she owned and operated Salon De Coiffeur in Medina for many years.  She loved to travel with her husband.  They would visit Las Vegas twice a year and attend the Daytona 500 in Florida.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  For several years, she hosted Gammie’s Camp for her grandchildren during the week of 4th of July.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Phyllis Burch.

Bev is survived by her husband of 32 years, Paul Nayman; daughters: Lori Pegelow, Lisa (Mark) Farone, Tammy Snyder; grandchildren: Julie (Travis) Goulding, Brandon (Kristen) Dettbarn, Nicole Elovaris, Michael Elovaris, Christopher (Amanda) Pegelow, Samuel Elovaris, Wallace Snyder, Alexis Quiros, Santana (Andrew) Kassay, Katelyn Farone; 14 great-grandchildren;  sister, Cheri (Robert) Geiger; brothers-in-law: Rolin (Sue) Arnold, Thomas (Diane) Pegelow; sisters-in-law: Linda (James) Chutko, Rosemarie (Ralph) Tomasov, Paula (Gary) Post; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport on Thu., Dec. 23 from 4-7 p.m. Her Celebration of Life service will be directly following.  Burial will be in WNY Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
