Betty Jane Vendetti

ALBION – Betty Jane Vendetti, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in the presence of her loving family. She was born July 8, 1935 in Brockport, NY to the late James and Nettie (Dunbar) Cotter.

Betty was a great baker and prepared delicious meals for her family. In her later years, she baked every day. She was so well known in the family for her dozens and dozens of pizzelles and cookies.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1971; siblings: Alvah, Esther, Donald, Elsie, Wesley, Ann, Samuel, Harriet, Ora, Annabelle. Betty is survived by her seven children: Ronald, Robert (Lynn), Michael (Michelle), Joanie (the late Dr. Paul), Jeanne (Ted), Dianne, and Richard. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren: Mark, Thomas, Joseph, Brandon, Brian, Alex, Jamie, Julie, Paul, Krista, Robert, Ryan, and Andrew; and her 10 great-grandchildren: Eli, Brantley, Parker, Leah, Jack, Henry, Kayla, Mason, Andre’ and Ava. Also several nieces and nephews, along with very special nieces: Linda Hansler and Kelly Uderitz.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Betty will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Holley. Flowers are respectfully declined and please consider a donation to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
