Barbara Lee (Dunn) Way
The world lost a beautiful soul on May 4, 2020 with the passing of Barbara Lee (Dunn) Way.
We can take a little comfort in knowing we were there to hold her hand as she passed from this world into the next. We can be sure it will be days before the excitement dies down at the end of the rainbow bridge, where all of her past fur babies are there to greet her.
Barbara worked for many years at the University of Rochester, taking care of the animals. Later, she was a vet tech and, in her final years, a home health care nurse. She spent her life always caring for others.
She was predeceased by her parents, Donovan and Dorothy Dunn; her grandson, Brandon; and her brother.
She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Ted; three children, Ted, Sheila and Kathy; her greatest joy – her five grandchildren, Jodi, Jessica, Kaylyn, Jordan and Amber; 11 great-grandchildren – she absolutely adored them, and they adored her; and her sisters, Peggy and Sally.
A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
